The good news: We can foster a growth mindset as we teach, without taking time off our regular curriculum! Simply praising effort can be a growth mindset trap. Adopting an empowering mindset shapes the lives of our students in class and beyond. Join us in this engaging workshop and learn how to shed the “fixed mindset” for yourself and for your students. Examine how using simple growth mindset activities and other effective instructional practices can help to facilitate a small shift in mentality that makes a huge change in our students’ attitudes and behaviors.
